BlinkList Toolbar for Firefox 1.5+

這個 toolbar 可以讓你快速 tag 喜愛的網頁, 以及搜尋關鍵字. 雖然 Google 是個不錯的搜尋引擎, 但隨著 social bookmark 的崛起, 不少人已經將 del.icio.us 或 BlinkList 這類的 bookmark 網站作為預設的首頁或者取代 Google 當作尋找資料的切入點. 這個 toolbar 可以滿足我 share 以及 search 的需求, 唯一的缺點是: 它得配合 firefox 1.5 使用 (偏偏我現在還在使用 1.0.7)

Windows Genuine Advantage plugin for Firefox

詳情請洽官方網頁, 或者直接下載程式回來安裝使用, 這是個 .exe 檔案. 安裝好之後開啟 firefox 在網址列輸入 about:plugins 可以看到 Windows Genuine Advantage validation plug-in 的相關訊息, 或者在一次瀏覽官方的網頁即可得知是否正確安裝完成.

D*I*Y Planner

又一個提供記事本範本下載的網站, 相較於先前介紹只能拿來做筆記的範本, 這個網站提供了更多樣性的表格: 通訊錄, 表單, 行程表.. 哇, 再也不用去書店買補充紙啦, 自己印一印還可以加上 logo, 真正擁有個人的 style ! ;-)

Portable Apps Suite

Portable Firefox 的作者 John Haller 最近又推出幾款 Portable Applications, 分別為 FileZilla 與 Gaim, 並且整合以往的作品為 Portable Apps Suite (完整版與 Light 版本的差異在於 OpenOffice) 搭配上 PuTTY 家族與 FoxitReader, 這就是我的 USB Stick 裡面會有的應用程式囉 !

VMware Player

以往要在別台電腦上跑 VMware 製作出來的作業環境, 得先安裝又肥又大的 VMware workstation 才可使用, 對於喜歡用 VMware 進行 demo 的人而言, 不是很方便. 現在有了 VMware Player, 再也不用煩惱這個問題囉 ! 除了無法製作新的作業環境以外 (其實有人找到方法只用 Player 安裝新的 OS 囉), 該有的功能通通都有 (想像一下 Adobe Acrobat 與 Adobe Acrobat Reader 的關係) 目前有 Windows 與 Linux 版本下載供大家使用, 另外 VMware Technology Network 的 Virtual Machine Center 有不少廠商提供的 pre-built virtual machines 讓網友試用公司產品, 包括 Novell, RedHat, IBM, [...]
